Another good book by Lawrence Block. It wasn’t 5-star amazing though because it lacks the plot twists in the end that I usually look for in a book, and the mystery is “simple”. Nevertheless it’s an entertaining read.

The Templar Legacy by Steve Berry

It was an ok read. I’m not really familiar with some of the architectural terms used in the book, so my attention frequently wandered. It’s one reason it took me so long (4 months?) to finish the book. The last few chapters were a quick read, and I breezed through them and finished the book after a couple of hours.

The Summons by John Grisham
My rating: 5 of 5 stars
I never expected this book to be amazing, because it’s not the usual legal thriller that Grisham writes. But after a couple of chapters, I was hooked. It took me less than a week to finish the book. That may be slow for others, but with my busy schedule that’s impressive.
I was pleasantly surprised to see some returning characters in this book that appeared in other Grisham novels. It made me want to re-read all his other novels that I read before and see if any of the characters were mentioned there.

The Romanov Prophecy by Steve Berry

Finally finished the book after … 6 months? Not sure if the first half was boring or I was just too busy. Maybe a combination of both? The last few chapters were pretty good though so I kept on reading until I finished it. Subject is fascinating.
