The Burglar on the Prowl by Lawrence Block

It’s an entertaining book, the funny and witty dialogues are typical of Block. The story kind of moved a bit slow, so it took me a while to finish the book. I breezed through the last 50 pages or so, but then again I seem to do that to all books so I can’t really give that as a positive for this book.

Hilarious most of the time, my jaw hurt because I was always smiling. Some jokes were repeats and I’ve read before, but all in all the book is good.

Another good book by Lawrence Block. It wasn’t 5-star amazing though because it lacks the plot twists in the end that I usually look for in a book, and the mystery is “simple”. Nevertheless it’s an entertaining read.

Seriously…I’m Kidding by Ellen DeGeneres

It was an ok book. The book is chuckle-funny, not lmao-funny. I love her style of comedy so I wasn’t bored with the book. It’s kind of short though, and it seems impersonal.
